Am 20.6.1814 erwähnt Tieck den Titel im Brief an Christian Friedrich Rühs (H: SBB-PK, Homeyer, K. 14, Tieck, Ludwig). In seinem Brief an Christian Friedrich Rühs vom 13.6.1816 erwähnt Tieck "School of Shakespeare" (H: SBB-PK, Homeyer, K. 14, Tieck, Ludwig).
